GPACAC College Fairs are a great platform for parents, students, and counselors to connect with colleges and universities. Fairs are FREE for students and parents to attend!
Students and parents, you are invited to attend the Virtual College Fair: Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021. GPACAC is partnering with StriveScan to offer a 6x6 virtual fair.
Sign-up to virtually connect with more than 70 colleges and universities from around the country for free. When students and parents register for one 45-minute session, you will hear from five to six institutions.
During the Virtual College Fair, families will have the chance to hear from many different colleges. You can choose which colleges you want to hear from by registering for their sessions. You and your family can ask questions of the college representatives throughout the presentations too!

Fall 2021 GPACAC Oklahoma College Fair Circuit Calendar
GPACAC and the Oklahoma College Recruitment Assn. (OCRA) have merged, with GPACAC planning the fall college fair circuit featuring 40+ in-person college fairs at area high schools throughout the state of Oklahoma. Plus, one virtual fair is included in the college fair schedule for participating college/university partners at no additional cost.

We are partnering with StriveScan to bring student barcode scanning technology to our college fairs this fall. As demonstrated with our past fairs, StriveScan makes the experience more efficient and productive for students and colleges, plus provides GPACAC and the fair organizers with valuable data about the events.
StriveScan is used at college fairs around the country, including by other NACAC affiliates including Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Ohio, Minnesota, Great Plains, Rocky Mountain, Pacific Northwest, Western, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Hawaii ACACs, plus the Colleges That Change Lives, Jesuit Excellence Tour, and Montana Post Secondary Educational Opportunities Council. More than 2,000 colleges have used StriveScan at hundreds of college fairs around the country and in 68 different countries.
College reps use the StriveScan app on their iPhone, Android, or iPad to scan students' barcodes. Reps can instantly view the student's profile information and take notes right in the app. After the fair, reps export the student data with one click, instantly, to a CSV Excel file.
To start scanning at a fair, you’ll need to purchase a StriveScan Fair Credit. The cost is $24 per Credit, and one Credit unlocks scanning at one fair. It includes unlimited student scans and there is no additional charge for multiple reps or multiple devices. Credits can be purchased individually, can be used at any StriveScan fair around the country, and never expire. This is designed to give you lots of flexibility.
No need to wait for fair data, purchase lead packages, app codes, or rent scanners for each rep.
Students attending the fairs go to the registration page at www.StriveFair.com and fill out a quick form on their phone or computer (in advance or at the door). When they sign up, StriveScan sends them a barcode via text message and email. The next day, students receive an email with a report on all of the colleges and representatives they met along with their contact information and social media profiles. There is no cost for students.
Counselors should encourage their students to pre-register before attending CPC fair. Use StriveScan’s handout for students to assist with student registration!
