GPACAC is offering a three-part virtual Diversity Series in the 2022-2023 academic year. Each session will feature a DEI expert who will educate our members on timely topics centered around inclusion, access, and equity.
Members who participate in all three Diversity Series events will earn a Diversity Series certification!

Topic: Working with Community Based Organizations to Support Students of Color and First Generation Students.
Speakers: Impact Tulsa (Curcio Smith and Andrea Stacy)
Description: Curcio and Andrea will be discussing Impact Tulsa, and specifically My Brother’s Keeper, and how they support schools and counselors in the Tulsa area. They will discuss the role that Impact Tulsa plays in supporting students of color and first-generation students as they pursue higher education. They will also share how counselors can find and connect with their local community-based organizations.
