Mentorship Program

The Mentorship Program brings together colleagues with varied levels of experience. By creating intentional 1:1 mentor/mentee pairings, affiliate members will form meaningful connections that contribute to the collaborative spirit of our profession, providing professional growth for participants. You will build relationships and mutually share talents, skills, and experiences that are valuable to our day-to-day work. The program would ask for approximately one hour of your time per month in January through May.

2026-2027 Mentorship is Kicking Off!

GPACAC is kicking off the mentorship program for 2026-2027 and inviting you to participate in the program! Along with the usual Traditional Mentorship format, we are offering two new formats this year…Peer Mentorship and Exec Board Mentorship! You get to choose what works best for you and what you would like out of this year’s mentorship program experience!

Traditional Mentorship Program

Traditional mentorship is a relationship where an experienced mentor provides guidance, support, and knowledge to help someone grow and succeed.
Available to ALL, looking for Mentors and Mentees.

Peer Mentorship Program

Peer mentorship is a collaborative relationship where individuals in similar positions learn from one another by sharing experiences, ideas, encouragement, and support.
Whether you have just started in GPACAC or are an experienced member this format can be for you!

Executive Board Mentorship Program (3+ years of experience)

Executive mentorship is an opportunity for individuals interested in serving on GPACAC’s Executive Board in the future to learn from current leaders, gain insight into leadership responsibilities, and build skills for future service.
Current Mentorship Opportunities: President, Treasurer, Membership & Engagement, Government Relations & Professional Development
