GPACAC is launching two (more to come) Special Interest Groups (SIG) for the 2025-2026 school year. Special interest groups are a way for specific and smaller subsets of colleagues to come together to network, collaborate, and share amongst each other. SIG leaders will host virtual meetings on a regular basis.
Past SIGS have included: Regional Admissions Counselors, Rural Community Support, and more.
Check back later for updated SIG information coming soon!
If you are interested in seeing additional special interest groups or would like to chair a different SIG, please contact the Membership & Engagement Committee at membership@gpacac.net.

The Regional Admissions Counselors SIG are in the holiday spirit!
Ever wonder what really happens after a college application is submitted?
This session takes you behind the scenes of the admission process to demystify the steps, decisions, and nuances that shape an applicant’s journey. From how transcripts and test scores are reviewed to the role of recommendation letters and personal statements, this event will provide clarity on what colleges actually consider—and why.
