Session Proposals

Thank you for considering to submit a session proposal for the 2027 GPACAC Annual Conference! We greatly value the contributions and expertise of our members, and we are excited to consider your proposal. All proposals will be submitted to the GPACAC Conference Programming Committee. The Programming Committee will make session proposal selections and share these decisions with the GPACAC President for review prior to notifying the presenters. The timeline for releasing the call for session proposals, deadline date, and notification are:

November 1, 2026 Proposal form opens
January 15, 2027 Priority consideration deadline for session proposal submissions
January 29, 2027 Final deadline for session proposal
February 12, 2027 Presenters will be notified of session approvals

If your session proposal is accepted, here are some helpful tips and tricks

Think about the theme of this year's conference - In Perfect Harmony and how the theme applies to our work as well as our challenges.
The title + description cannot exceed 100 characters.
Think about what you want people to leave knowing.
Practice, practice, practice!
Consider bringing handouts or takeaways.
Collaborate with colleagues from other institutions or across membership lines. Teaming up with colleagues across our affiliate brings great perspective!
Consider your target audience. Think about those you are presenting to and consider how it relates to them.
Bring a backup flash drive with your presentation saved on it.
